Being Taught From My Betting Blunders
March 21st, 2010 by Julio

1st to explain the reason I wrote this essay. I have been betting on the web or at physical betting houses for a great many years. I have learned, the dependency can grab a hold of you and you won’t even realize it up until you are beaten. Particularly if you are on a winning streak. I’ve gone through many tens of thousands of dollars in a very tiny period of time and still on occasion, I’ll go too far. It seems you are just having fun until you start to track your defeats and the guilt settles in, and then you continue to tell yourself "I can get it back" repeatedly. It doesn’t works. Then you feel sick in your belly and the harder you try the quicker you lose.

When you see that you’re up, remain on the UP! When you begin to lose, do not tell yourself, "well perhaps just one more" and over and over again, believe me, this plan almost never ever works. Say you’re playing on slots, have a bankroll put aside prior to starting your play. Don’t exceed that limit, no matter how captivating. If you actually win, put that in a different canister. Do not risk your wins no matter what. Once you’ve gambled through your primary set limit, bail out. Leave, regardless if it is on the net or at a physical betting house, do not stay around. Always keep in mind, there will be a different day, a different time.

Remember, betting is supposed to be FUN not backbreaking, sickening work! If you aren’t enjoying yourself, you do not belong there. If youcan not afford the loss, don’t even start.
